Had a final visit with one of my home health nurses. The wound continues to heal well. Getting more walking in which is good and helps with digestion. Next week I will have a "port" installed for the chemo treatments, plus a biopsy. Today we meet with our "team" at the oncologist's to go over the whole chemo process and what to expect. Nov. 16 we have an appointment at UC Davis to get our 2nd opinion. As far as we know there are no trials that would fit my situation. Will start chemo after the UC appointment.
Enjoying the cool, autumn days and spending time outdoors.
